We are approaching the date for the final big fundraiser of our fiscal year, the Sertoma Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Blackhawk Golf Club at noon on Friday, April the 19th. For an entry fee of $100 (a check to Round Rock Sertoma or cash), the players will receive a “goody bag” of golfer’s paraphernalia, a round of golf with a cart, free drinks, a meal of brisket & sausage after the round and an opportunity to win numerous prizes. A few of the highlights are:

I realize that many of you are not golf enthusiasts, however, we really need your help to make this event a success. We want to attract at least 72 golfers (a team of 4 per hole). It is likely that some of your friends are golfers, so tell them about the tournament and ask them if they will play or, even better, if they will get a team together to play. A flyer is available to use in your promotion efforts.
We also would like to have a sponsor for each hole. The sponsorship fee is $100 for which we will prominently place a sign promoting their enterprise on the tee of one of the holes. Please use your contacts to recruit sponsors for us.
Finally, we will need volunteers to help us conduct the tournament. This includes the registration process, taking pictures and helping with the dinner and awards presentation.
