Nominations for Officers and Directors
It is again time to begin nominations for next year’s Officers and Board of Directors. Past Presidents make up the nominations committee, which will meet on Wednesday, March 13th, 2002 at Brath beginning at 6 P.M.
If you are interested in running for an office or wish to nominate someone, please inform one of the past presidents. The first reading of the nominees to the general membership will be at the regular club meeting on Tuesday, March 26. A second reading and election will occur the following week on Tuesday, April 2nd.
As immediate past president, Jim Greene will become Chairman of the Board. We hope to have some new people on the Board, but also have some return for sake of continuity.

Our membership in the last month has changed considerably. Please join me in welcoming David Whitmer and Kristin Stevens as new members to our club. David’s sponsor is Jon Koch, and her father, Charlie Culpepper, sponsors Kristin. Unfortunately, our club lost four members: Shanna Poole, John Hyndman, Bob Caruthers and Mike Brodlowicz. We thank them for their past contributions and participation in the club and community. The club membership roster will be updated and distributed very soon via email and printed copy.

The social event for February was held at Esther’s Follies on Friday, Feb. 22nd. We had about 20 people show up for the show and “a good time was had by all.” This show seems to get funnier and funnier every year. I hear that Cecil even picked up a few jokes for the next banquet. I also want to personally thank Bill Von Rosenberg for coordinating this event. We are currently in the process of trying to make plans for our social event in March and are leaning towards possibly going to a play at one of the local theatres in town. I will keep you informed as plans progress.
