From the Greene House
As we wind down the Sertoma Year, the club continues to be in a very strong position both financially and in membership numbers. This would not be the case if it hadn't been for your hard work and initiative to grow our club. We held a Fish Fry social on Sunday the 28th. I would
like to thank Ron Gorman and his committee for a great event.
The annual Award and Installation Banquet will be held on Friday, August 16th at the Board of Realtors building on Sam Bass Rd.
Ron will be getting information and sign-up sheets out very soon. I hope to see everyone there. Our first Major Fundraising event, Casino Night, will be held on October 25th. I will be the chairman of that event and will be holding the first planning meeting in the next few
weeks. This is a huge undertaking and will require participation from every club member to make it a success.
As always, may God bless and be with you all.
Jim Greene
President

There was a great turnout for the Barbecue at Old Settlers Park on Sunday, June 23rd. There were about 60 people who attended and
Poke-E-Joes provided some great barbecue. I would like to thank the
people who helped out with this event; Cliff and Carol Woisin, Bill Rinkin, Jim Greene, Tony Abbatista, and Chris Scott.
Our next event will be the fish fry on Sunday, July 28th. By the looks of the sign up sheet, we should have a great turnout for this event also.
On Friday, August 16th, we will have the annual Awards Banquet at the
Williamson County Board of Realtors building on Sam Bass Road. Awards
will be given out and the officers for next year will be introduced.
Hope to see you there!
Ron Gorman
Social Chairman
