As 2001-2002 Sponsorship Year draws to an end, I'd like to thank the members of the Sponsorship Committee for their outstanding work. They have effectively distributed the Club's funds to have the greatest possible impact in our community. The team began the year by defining focus areas for funds distribution. These were:

In addition, we defined a geographical focus area that included the area served by the Round Rock ISD. We established a budget and a process to evaluate funding requests. The process ensured that
requests were fully evaluated by a team member prior to funding decisions being made to ensure that Club funds were used in the most efficient manner possible.
The result: IT WORKED! Team members evaluated nearly 50 requests, and
optimized the expenditure of over $52,000 in Club funds.
I am particularly proud of Sponsorship Committee members who took personal ownership of cases and effectively managed each one. They put in hundreds of hours to make sure we had the greatest possible impact. I congratulate them on a great year!
