Marvin Felux has done a remarkable job keeping us abreast of the latest information of members. Here’s the latest update:
Our deepest sympathy goes to Don and Jackie Bonner at the loss of Don’s brother, who died in Alabama April 30th.
Dick Reid suffered a heart attack on July 5th. He is doing much better and is back home. Mary Lee and Dick thank all for your prayers and well wishes.
Laurie Johnson has been in Michigan and Wisconsin, visiting family and friends. Gerald and Joleen Boyer made an R & R trip to Branson, Missouri. Ron and Jann Gorman attended the Indy 500 over Memorial Day weekend; they had a great time and now are hooked on racing.
Norma and Fred Adams were in Houston to attend a family member’s 59th wedding anniversary. Kristi Bayer missed a meeting while on vacation.
Although Kathy Culpepper was in a rollover car accident, she would not allow that to prevent her and Charlie from going on a planned cruise. Once on the ship, she was in considerable pain, went to the ship’s doctor, and found she had a cracked rib. They enjoyed their trip anyway.
Dave Hamby and his family traveled to New England to attend a wedding. Ask Dave how to dispose of a rattlesnake if one is found in your rabbit hutch. Of course, he is probably the only Sertoman with a rabbit hutch.
To encourage attendance , we hold a drawing each quarter for those who had perfect attendance. For the third quarter, 20 members had perfect attendance. Marvin Felux had his name drawn to win the $30 Olive Garden gift card plus two Express tickets. There is no truth to the rumor that his was the only name in the bucket.
For the five meetings in June we experienced an overall 51.4% attendance. The following members had perfect attendance for the month:
| Bill Beare | Kristi Bayer | Dominic Digesualdo | Wes Carlson |
| Matt Carson | Marvin Felux | Dot Gill | Tom Gill |
| Dennis Graffious | Jim Greene | Kim Haugen | Rufus Honeycutt |
| Mike Parker | Jon Koch | Ron Gorman | Richard Prete |
| Delores Schoenfeld | Anne Shove | Bruce Shove | Cliff Woisin |
