"HEARING IN NOISE" SCREENING WEBSITE

While hearing tests traditionally take place in an audiology clinic or physician’s office, a simplified version (screening) of the Hearing in Noise Test (HINT) is now accessible online at HealthyConnections.com and HEI.org.  HINT is considered one of the most reputable tests for evaluating hearing function in noise.  This functional screener is free of charge and allow people to determine if they may suffer from hearing loss and need to seek help from a qualified professional.  It’s easy and quick to use.  The House Ear Institute, developer of this tool, is a private, non-profit organization that supports hearing research and education.
