The
Regional Convention is still two months away but it is not too early for you to
register with the resort (Tapatio Springs) and the convention registration form
(the one on our web page). Our club is very much involved in making this a
great convention, we will be learning about Sertoma as well as having a little
fun. Our convention will be attended by several people outside of our
region: International President, Tommy Brush; Foundation Vice President, Michael
Whyland; International Vice President, Sheila Redding; and Midwest International
Director, Austin Farley.
Also, this is the year that we elect a new International Director for our
region. We have, at this time, one person who has stepped forward, John
Hemenway from the Austin Club. And one person who has stepped up to run
for the Heart of Texas Governor, Dennis Graffious. I believe that both of
these Sertomans will prove to be great assets to our District, Region, and
International. They need your support, show that you care and be there in
Boerne to make sure that it all happens.
As we get closer to the convention, our committee will need a little bit of
extra help, let me know if you would be able to possibly take some items down to
Boerne with you.

with the planning, to have an idea of just how many people are really going to
