We continue to do the good work we were meant to do in this and surrounding communities. It feels good to be a sponsor, doesn’t it? I sure do because I get to see the good things we do at every sponsorship committee meeting. I challenge each and every one of you to come visit one of our meetings. I promise it will be informative or I will humbly serve you your donuts at our next general membership meeting. We meet at Brath Construction just off of IH35 at McNeil on the second Monday of the Month at 6:30pm.
Since my last article, we have donated all kinds of time and energy in a variety of endeavors. We have spent just over 1,200 dollars helping, among other projects:

Sertoma Scholarships were awarded to three (3) Round Rock High School students. Pictured with Marvin Felux are Crystal Agnew, current SERTeen President, and Chris Culpepper, a reknown baseball player and son of Charlie Culpepper. Crystal Straseske, another Round Rock High School SERTeen also received a scholarship but was not present for the awards ceremony. There were so many well deserving students this year. We can all be proud of every one of our young graduates in Round Rock for their past accomplishments, current ambitions and their dreams for the future. America will be in good hands!
