B-A-N-C (Build A New Club)
Our Round Rock Sertoma club was formed over 25 years ago, because the Northwest Austin club wanted to expand Sertoma in the area. As the BANC chairman for the Round Rock club, I will be working to start a Sertoma club in Pflugerville.
If you would like to be a part of extending our organization, just let me know. There are many things to do and experience level doesn't play a big part. If you have contacts in the Pflugerville area I would sure like to have their info. We know from past experience that the Pflugerville High School needs Sertoma assistance, since they have asked for help from our club on several occasions.
I will be scheduling a meeting of all those who would like to assist, in the Mid November timeframe.
Come and help me spread the good name of SERTOMA.

A Report from a Now Seasoned Newsletter Editor

Me, with my new software. OK, truth is I still haven’t figured out how to insert the clipart...
Here it is, my second effort at this club’s newsletter. It’s easy to see this issue is very different from my first effort.
The first and most obvious difference is the number and quality of contributions from all the members. THANK YOU!
The second difference is the absence of my attempts to bring a little levity into your world. The last issue brought only three comments from the club members, all of them positive. Still, no mention was made of Junior’s letter by the three that made the effort to acknowledge my contribution, so there’s not another one in this issue.
Surprisingly I did get quite a bit of effusive praise for my first issue from folks who are not members of this club. I got e-mails from folks involved in charities we support and the praise was such my head swelled, I became top-heavy and fell out of my chair.
I was of the belief that no one really ever read these newsletters anyway, now I’m going to have to amend that conviction.
I hope that those of you reading enjoy this issue. Please feel free to e-mail me with any comments or observations you might have. Please note my new e-mail address on the back or use the Newsletter Input link in the left menu if you are reading this from the web.
