What's New On Our Web Site

·          Inter-active Sponsorship Request Form:  In addition to the Abobe Acrobat PDF file available to members for printing ( http://www.rrsertoma.org/Documents/Sponsorship%20Request.pdf), we have added an on-line form to enable the public to request Sertoma sponsorship (http://www.rrsertoma.org/sponsorship.htm).  The on-line form is automatically mailed to the Sponsorship Committee Chairman for required action.  Within hours of this web page being updated with the new form, we received our first Sponsorship Request.

·          Club Calendar:  The new Round Rock Sertoma Club Calendar may be accessed from the Organization web page (http://www.rrsertoma.org/about_us.htm) or by going directly to the calendar host site (http://www.localendar.com/public/itplanner).  This calendar provides a graphic presentation of scheduled recurring meetings and upcoming special events in a new browser window.  To obtain details on any given event, simply left click on the event listing and a separate "pop-up" window will appear showing event details.  To schedule an event or recurring committee meeting on the calendar, contact Norm Nofzinger at 255-5366, EMail njnoffzinger@msn.com.  Be sure to give Norm all event details.

·          Members Only Group Web Site:  This non-public web site was created to provide Round Rock Sertoma Club members with a private web site where messages, documents, photos and other electronic media could be centrally stored for access by all members.  To access this site, simply type http://www.msnusers.com/RoundRockSertoma in the address line in your web browser and enter your MSN Passport User Name and Password when prompted to login.  If you don't have an MSN Passport yet and have not been granted group access by the Webmaster, simply click on the "Get one now" link and follow instructions to create your personal MSN Passport.  EMail your new Passport EMail address to webmaster@rrsertoma.org to request membership access to the new Round Rock Sertoma Club group web site.  Once you've been authorized for access by the Site Manager and have signed into the group, future access will be automatic if you check the "Sign me in automatically" box on your initial login.

Computer, Internet Usage Training:  Our webmaster, Dick Reid, recognizes that many of our club members who have never been exposed to computers are reluctant to utilize either our public or non-public web sites.  Dick has offered to make himself available to provide personal instructions on everything from basic computer usage and internet access to actual creation of web pages for publication on the internet, either on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting.  If you are interested in enhancing your life skills, please contact Dick at 388-9710 or EMail webmaster@rrsertoma.org
