A Word from Our President
A New Year has started and I am looking forward to working hard to achieve some of the goals that the Board and I have set forth. The Sponsorship Committee took off running with Chris Scott at the helm. Richard Prete has ordered our Xmas Trees and Mike Parker is almost finished with arrangements for Casino Night. Kent Macaulay has made arrangements for our Annual Golf Tournament in the Spring, and Rufus has already been in contact with the Express for our Annual Baseball Banquet.
I am fortunate to have such go-getters on my Board but, we can only have successful fundraisers and sponsorship with the cooperation of the entire club. I am looking forward to working with the fine people who stepped forward. To support our projects, we need members to join the committees to make it happen.
“New Members” and old who are not on a committee, now is the time to step up and become involved in your club’s activities of fundraising and sponsorships. We always welcome new ideas.
