Golf Tournament Needs Your Support
The Round Rock Sertoma Golf Tournament benefiting the Round Rock Health Clinic and other Sertoma charities is scheduled for June 11, 2004. It will be held at Avery Ranch Golf Club with a 1:30 PM shotgun start for the four man scramble event. Player registration is $100 per person.
We will need volunteers on the day of the tournament to help with registration. We need your help now with gaining sponsorship participation (contact Mike Parker), player registration (contact Joe Lehane), and complimentary item bags (contact Rufus Honeycutt). Please ask your friends to participate as players and ask your business associates to become sponsors. Our sponsorship opportunities range from $100.00 to $1,000.00.
We gained insight for the needs of the Round Rock Health Clinic when Andy Martinez spoke to our club on March 23rd. We feel that the partnership with the Clinic will be a benefit to the tournament by helping to bring players and sponsors as well as helping to inform the public about the Clinic and Round Rock Sertoma.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the annual July 4th and Frontier Days Celebration. The festival will take place Saturday, July 3rd and Sunday, July 4th at Old Settler's Park. There will be a parade through downtown Round Rock starting at 10:00 am on Saturday and the Festivities will continue throughout the weekend out at the park. There will be vendors, plenty of food, music, children's and family games, the ever-popular Sam Bass Shootout re-enactment and of course, fireworks on Sunday night. The club will be sporting its usual booth but volunteers are needed in a number of other areas from parking to vendor check-in. There are still vendor booths available too for all of you entrepreneurs!
