The Sponsorship Committee had its most recent regularly scheduled meeting on March 2nd. The Sponsorship Committee and the Board have approved the following items:

Agape
Pregnancy Resource Center
exists to provide practical help and loving support to those
facing an unplanned pregnancy. SERTOMA has made a $500 contribution. |

The YMCA of Greater Williamson County – Partners of Youth Campaign provides scholarships to place young people in Williamson County into the YMCA’s after-school care program. SERTOMA has sponsored the program for several years and has made another $1,000 donation this year. |
Other items of interest include:
Jim Brock is becoming involved with the Hear Me Foundation, a support group for parents of hearing impaired children. Beth Gavin, mother of one of our former sponsorship recipients, is involved with the club and was a speaker at a club meeting earlier this month.
The Scholarship Selection Committee will create two (2) additional $500 scholarships this year, specifically for Zoi Ora Filos (Serteen) members at Round Rock High School.
Our approved Sponsorship Spending for the year now stands at $14,161.50 !!!.

* NOTE: Regularly scheduled Sponsorship Committee meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at Brath General Contractors at 6:30PM. All interested members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
