In the past I explained the requirements for new members to achieve the GEM Award in their first year of membership.  The following awards can be earned after your first year of membership through the Gold Eagle Program.

There are five levels in the Sertoma Gold Eagle Program: Centurion, Tribune, Senator I, Senator II, and Senator III.  The requirements for each level build on the previous level, and fall into four basic categories:

Service Hours

Cub Meeting Attendance

Conference or Convention Attendance

The chart above lists the minimum requirements for each Gold Eagle Program level. I should note that the requirements for each award must be completed in a twelve month period, and all awards call for you to be in good standing with the club for the whole year.  Also, we use the honor system so you are responsible for recording your own activities and letting me know which awards you are eligible for prior to the annual awards banquet.  There is a booklet called the Sertoma Passport that you can use to record your progress, and you should have received one of these in your new member packet.  If you need an extra one please let me know.

If you have any questions about these or other awards let me know.

Awards Chairman

 New Members

I’d like to welcome to the club two new members, Doug Pittman and Carrie Pitt who joined in November, and also welcome an old friend, Jay Latham, who has rejoined in December.  Welcome back Jay!

Please help to continue to spread the word about Sertoma and to strengthen our club by bringing in new members.

VP Membership
