The business of the Round Rock SERTOMA Club is carried out by dedicated teams of organized volunteers. The following is a listing of the current active committees:

The Membership Committee is responsible for the recruitment, training and retention of new members and for maintaining accurate records on all Round Rock SERTOMA Club members.

The Fundraising Committee is responsible for the coordination and management of all fund raising activities and the development of new fund raising opportunities.

The Sponsorship Committee is responsible for reviewing all requests to the Round Rock Sertoma Club for financial support and recommending action to be taken by the Board of Directors. The Sponsorship Committee is also responsible for the development of new sponsorship programs and forwarding an annual support budget to the Board of Directors for approval. The Sponsorship Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month and welcomes new members who want to become more involved with Round Rock Sertoma Club sponsorship activities.

The Programs Committee is responsible scheduling guest speakers for the weekly Tuesday morning business meetings.

Social Committee

The Social Committee is responsible for the planning, organizing and controlling of all Round Rock SERTOMA Club social functions. Individual club members may be requested to assist committee members with event reservations, entertainment, food and drink preparation for specific social events.

Awards Committee

The Awards Committee is responsible for all awards to be given by the Round Rock SERTOMA Club.

Attendance Committee

The Attendance Committee promotes regular attendance at Round Rock SERTOMA Club meetings and activities. In addition, this committee also provides ‘Care and Concern’ for club members as needed.

Publicity Committee

The Publicity Committee is responsible for publication of the monthly Sertoma Newsletter and ensuring that electronic copies of each newsletter are forwarded to the Sertoma webmaster for web site publication. The Publicity Director is also responsible for all official Round Rock Sertoma Club media publications (newspaper, magazines, etc.) and responding to general information requests from the public.

The Softball Committee functions as the primary interface to the Round Rock Girls Softball League and coordinates Round Rock Sertoma Club sponsorship support of league functions and activities.

The Scholarship Committee is responsible for developing scholarship award criteria, reviewing applications from graduating seniors and making recommendations to the Board of Directors for individual scholarship awards.

The National Heritage Committee is responsible for the development and presentation of an Annual National Heritage Program for the 5th Grade students of the Round Rock Independent School District.

The Serteen Committee functions as the Club Liasion to the sponsored Serteen Clubs.

The Inter-Club Committee is responsible for inter-action and coordination with other Sertoma clubs.
